Just over a month ago, the Lord led us to Chantal and her mother. Chantal is from Lavallee and goes to the Children's Hope school there. Two years ago she broke her leg, but an infection grew and spread and due to the expenses of health care, it never fully healed. She was taken to Dr. McGowan's clinic where she had surgery to clean the wound out. For the past couple of weeks she has been receiving antibiotics and regular dressing changes. Also Magdala (the school manager) has been helping Chantal keep up with her schooling. We are hoping and praying that the infection has cleared and that her skin will heal over the cut. It truly is a miracle how her leg has healed!

Doggie Update!
After Jackie Chen's tragic death we have had the joy of her puppies! They already look so much like her at the age of 12 weeks (or something like that). I have taken the responsibility to name them all: Caffrey, Old Man #2 (before finding out she was really a girl and after Old Man disappeared), Paper, Raisin and Waddles.

And on the final note we had a great time eating cake with our friends, celebrating my dad's birthday!
