BBC Going Live in 3…2…1…
For those of you who don't know where Zimbabwe is...it is NOT located near Ebola |
One of the best parts of international airports are all the
different languages and accents. The Phoenix; Heathrow (near London);
Johannesburg, South Africa (yes it is a country!) and Harare (the big city in
Zimbabwe) airports all contained an ample supply of British accents.
The
first leg of our trip went from The Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport to
the London Heathrow International Airport. The flight was quite uneventful, although
I did enjoy watching Alexander and the Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day and
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In addition to these movies, I watched half of two
more movies, Epic and Guardians of the Galaxy. If you were wondering, Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtles was the best, and Guardians of the Galaxy was definitely
the worst (if you can’t tell I really, really, really, did not like it).
Unfortunately,
our next flight was not so peachy. Thankfully, I was able to sleep more than
the previous plane ride, and I also got to finish two movies and a couple of TV
shows (BCC). The unpleasant and very memorable part came as an extra bonus with
my English breakfast. In short, I puked. I won’t go into any details because I
don’t want anybody else to barf. J
On
Monday, January 19, my mom, my dad, and I arrived safe and sound in the Chiredzi
Christian Children’s Village thanks to Kufa, our first Zimbabwean friend. Thank
you for keeping us in your prayers!
